One of my goals in life is to become of promoter of local and unrecognized artists and organizations plus planning events. This past semester I was involved with an organization called Heart of Chaos. Which is an artist run organization whose mission is to provide a venue for under recognized, emerging artists and established artists, of all mediums, to showcase and sell their work through exhibits and an online forum, while encouraging conversations between the two. So by using my resources at KSJS I was able to not only promote their events through the downtown and college audiences, I was also able to help bring the DJ/Entertainment aspect of it by having the DJs of the radio station spin at these events. This is something that I have worked hard on and am very proud of and hopefully take on bigger and more challenging tasks.
